Dockers Recognize

Social/Digital Content Series

As a brand with a historic record of championing social justice, Dockers wanted to contribute to the shift in national conversation following 2020 and use their platforms to amplify Black voices, empowering individuals to share their unique and authentic stories.

From Recognize’s inception, we sought to move the conversation beyond Black History Month, extending the campaign into a yearlong celebration of Black change-makers and meaningfully investing in organizations that bring opportunity and resources to Black communities across the country.

The Recognize series ultimately featured twelve passionate individuals working to make real change. We shared their stories on Dockers’ site and social channels with films, editorial-style interviews, original photography, IG Lives/Reels, and paid and shoppable organic social posts.

The topics of conversation were far-reaching and reflected the diversity of the Black experience. From advancing diversity efforts in arts, sports and outdoor spaces, to empowering Black members of the LGBTQ+ community to live fully and openly, to celebrating those making an impact within Dockers itself, Recognize told real stories of change, inviting audiences nationwide to join us in listening, learning and making a difference.
