Visitors to the Smith Tea Tasting Room had the opportunity to send the quintessential summer vacation greeting: a postcard. Three unique designs, themed around the Summer Iced Tea Collection, were displayed among the iced teas along with a charming red letter box.

The Summer Iced Tea Collection
Blackberry Jasmine Iced Tea was an immediate sensation for iconic Portland-based tea company, Smith Tea, when it was introduced in 2021. Fast-forward a few years, and Smith Tea was looking for fresh messaging around their blue-hued limited-edition iced tea. I delivered—and sold them on their first campaign platform for the entire summer iced tea collection.
Taking cues from the iced teas themselves, I worked directly with the marketing team at Smith Tea to pair each blend with a summer destination—far-flung tropical isles, desert oasis, European ports—and crafted a story around each.
Every tea got its moment in the sun with fresh photography, dedicated emails, a corresponding Spotify playlist, paid & organic social ads, vacation-inspired cocktails and an in-store postcard writing station.
The campaign fundamentally changed how Smith Tea approached their seasonal teas, infusing their communications with a new POV, fresh creative and ultimately extending the time spent marketing them.
